Education Spectrum Joins Discussion on New Autism Definition

Education Spectrum Joined the Channel-13 Weekend News Team for a Discussion Regarding a New Autism Definition.

In 2013, an updated version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders - (DSM-V) will be published. The DSM-V is used by clinicians and medical professionals to diagnose disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. Recently, a new definition of Autism was proposed. Cathy Gott, President and Co-Founder of Education Spectrum, along with Joan Maltese, Ph.D., Founder of the Child Development Institute, shared comments on the newly released definition.
