The Education Spectrum team has just celebrated 15 years of service to children and teens. Beautiful letters were read from parents who shared their stories of the different memories and ways that Education Spectrum has touched their lives.
In 2013, an updated version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders - (DSM-V) will be published. The DSM-V is used by clinicians and medical professionals to diagnose disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. Recently, a new definition of Autism was proposed. Cathy Gott, President and Co-Founder of Education Spectrum, along with Joan Maltese, Ph.D., Founder of the Child Development Institute, shared comments on the newly released definition.
